故凡事宜如兄弟、得於上帝之事、為矜恤忠信之大祭司、為民罪作挽回之祭、

故當凡事同於兄弟、為矜恤忠信之祭司長、以事上帝、而贖民罪、

因此、彼不得不與眾兄弟儘量同化、俾在天主臺前、得充一忠心耿耿、富於同情之大司祭且為萬民之罪、而自獻為消怒之犧牲。

既然兒女同有血肉之軀，他也照樣親自成了血肉之軀，為能藉着死敗壞那掌管死權的，就是魔鬼，

反倒虛己，取了奴僕的形像，成為人的樣式；既有人的樣子，就謙卑自己，存心順服，以至於死，且死在十字架上。

「為你百姓和你聖城，已經定了七十個七，要止住罪過，除淨罪惡，贖盡罪孽，引進永恆的公義，封住異象和預言，並膏至聖所。

這樣一位聖潔、無邪惡、無玷污、遠離罪人、高過諸天的大祭司，對我們是最合適的；

王的本分是在節期、初一、安息日，就是以色列家一切的盛會，奉上燔祭、素祭、澆酒祭。他要獻上贖罪祭、素祭、燔祭和平安祭，為以色列家贖罪。」

祭司宰了羊，將血獻在壇上作贖罪祭，為全以色列贖罪，因為王吩咐要為全以色列獻上燔祭和贖罪祭。

摩西作為僕人，向神的全家盡忠，為將來要談論的事作證；

從以色列水源豐沛的草場上，每二百隻羊中要獻一隻羔羊。這都可作素祭、燔祭、平安祭，來為民贖罪。這是主耶和華說的。

公義必當他的腰帶，信實必作他脅下的帶子。

他向指派他的盡忠，如同摩西向神的全家盡忠一樣。

若將任何贖罪祭的血帶進會幕，為要在聖所贖罪，那肉就不可吃，要用火焚燒。」

從前你們與神隔絕，心思上與他為敵，行為邪惡；

因那使人成聖的，和那些得以成聖的，都是出於一。為這緣故，他稱他們為弟兄也不以為恥，

既在十字架上消滅了冤仇，就藉這十字架使雙方歸為一體，與神和好，

一切都是出於神；他藉着基督使我們與他和好，又將勸人與他和好的使命賜給我們。這就是：神在基督裏使世人與自己和好，不將他們的過犯歸到他們身上，並且將這和好的信息託付了我們。所以，我們作基督的特使，就好像神藉我們勸你們一般。我們替基督求你們，與神和好吧！神使那無罪的，替我們成為罪，好使我們在他裏面成為神的義。

因為我們作仇敵的時候，尚且藉着神兒子的死得以與神和好，既已和好，就更要因他的生得救了。

本月初七，你也要為誤犯罪的和因無知而犯罪的這樣做；你們要為聖殿贖罪。

所以，有關神面前的事奉，我在基督耶穌裏是有可誇的。

律法所立的大祭司本是有弱點的人，但在律法以後，神以起誓的話立了兒子為大祭司，成為完全，直到永遠。

就宰了公牛。摩西取了血，用指頭抹在祭壇周圍的四個翹角上，使壇潔淨，再把其餘的血倒在壇的底座上，使壇成為聖，為壇贖罪。
