For clearly He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the descendants of Abraham.

蓋彼所欲救拔者、非屬天神、乃為亞伯漢之子孫。

For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s descendants.

It is certainly Abraham’s children that he helps. He doesn’t help angels.

For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring of Abraham.

We also know that the Son did not come to help angels; he came to help the descendants of Abraham.

For it is clear that he does not reach out to help angels, but to help Abraham’s offspring.

For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.

For verily not to angels doth he give help, but he giveth help to the seed of Abraham.

For it is clear that He does not reach out to help angels, but to help Abraham’s offspring.

For verily he took not on[ him the nature of] angels; but he took on[ him] the seed of Abraham.

For surely his concern is not for angels, but he is concerned for Abraham’s descendants.

For most certainly, he doesn’t give help to angels, but he gives help to the offspring of Abraham.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.

For indeed circumcision is of value if you practice the Law; but if you are a violator of the Law, your circumcision has turned into uncircumcision.

For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,( as it is written:“ I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed, that is, God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that do not exist.In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken,“ So shall your descendants be.”Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.Therefore it was also credited to him as righteousness.Now not for his sake only was it written that it was credited to him,but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, to us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,He who was delivered over because of our wrongdoings, and was raised because of our justification.

And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say,“ And to seeds,” as one would in referring to many, but rather as in referring to one,“ And to your seed,” that is, Christ.

For people swear an oath by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath serving as confirmation is an end of every dispute.

For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.
