因為眾兒女都是血肉之軀，所以祂也同樣取了血肉之軀，為要親身經歷死亡，藉此摧毀掌握死亡權勢的魔鬼，

夫眾子既屬血氣、彼亦同之、致得由死而滅秉死之權者、即魔也、

子乃血氣之屬、主亦血氣之屬、欲以其死使魔鬼無權、不得逞其力以傷人、

眾子既有血肉之身、彼亦有血肉之身、致可以死而滅秉死之權者、即魔也、

眾子既具血肉之體、聖子亦曾具血肉之體；其所以然者、乃欲通過死亡之關以滅彼掌握死權之沙殫、

Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death— that is, the devil—

Those children have bodies made out of flesh and blood. So Jesus became human like them in order to die for them. By doing this, he could break the power of the devil. The devil is the one who rules over the kingdom of death.

Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,

如今藉著我們救主基督耶穌的降世顯明了出來。基督已經消滅了死亡，藉著福音將不朽的生命彰顯了出來。

律法因為人性軟弱而無法成就的事，上帝親自成就了。祂差遣自己的兒子成為和罪人一樣有血有肉的人，作了贖罪祭，廢掉了罪的權勢，

道成為肉身，住在我們中間，充滿了恩典和真理。我們見過祂的榮耀，正是父獨一兒子的榮耀。

我要把他們從陰間的權勢下贖回嗎？我要救他們脫離死亡嗎？死亡啊，你去降災給他們吧！陰間啊，你去毀滅他們吧！我不會再憐憫他們。

打敗了一切在靈界執政、掌權的邪惡勢力，用基督在十字架上的勝利公開羞辱牠們。

弟兄姊妹，我告訴你們，血肉之軀不能承受上帝的國，必朽壞的身體也不能承受永不朽壞的產業。

當這一切發生的時候，就應驗了聖經上的話：「死亡被勝利吞滅了。」「死亡啊！你得勝的權勢在哪裡？死亡啊！你的毒鉤在哪裡？」死亡的毒鉤就是罪，罪藉著律法施展它的權勢。但感謝上帝，祂使我們靠著主耶穌基督得勝。

現在是這世界受審判的時候，世界的王要被趕出去了。至於我，當我從地上被舉起來時，必吸引萬人歸向我。」耶穌這句話指的是祂會怎樣死。

祂必永遠吞滅死亡。主耶和華必擦去各人臉上的眼淚，從世上除掉祂子民的羞辱。這是耶和華說的。

一直犯罪的人是屬魔鬼的，因為魔鬼從起初便犯罪，但上帝兒子的顯現是為了摧毀魔鬼的工作。從上帝生的人不會繼續犯罪，因為他裡面有上帝的生命。他不能犯罪，因為他是從上帝生的。這樣，就可以看出誰是上帝的兒女，誰是魔鬼的兒女。凡不按公義行事、不愛弟兄姊妹的，都不是上帝的兒女。

我是永活者。我曾經死過，但看啊，我永永遠遠活著。我掌握死亡和陰間的鑰匙。

因此，祂是新約的中保，藉著死亡救贖了觸犯舊約的人，好叫那些蒙召的人得到所應許的永恆基業。

祂經歷過受試煉的痛苦，所以能幫助受試煉的人。

我要使祂與偉人同享尊榮，跟強者同分戰利品，因為祂奉獻了自己的生命。祂被列在罪犯中，卻擔當了許多人的罪，又為罪人代求。」

因為我們這位大祭司並非不能體恤我們的軟弱，祂與我們一樣曾經面對各樣的試探，卻從來沒有犯罪。

然而，時候一到，上帝就差遣自己的兒子藉著一位女子降生，並受律法的約束，

他捉住巨龍，就是那古蛇——魔鬼，又名撒旦，將牠捆綁一千年。

牠和牠的天使都一同從天上被摔到地上。巨龍就是那古蛇，又名魔鬼或撒旦，也就是那迷惑全人類的。

我要使你和女人結仇，你的後代和女人的後代也要彼此為仇，女人的後代必傷你的頭，你必傷他的腳跟。」

所以，主會親自給你們一個徵兆，必有童貞女懷孕生子並給祂取名叫以馬內利。

正是為這個緣故，基督死了，又復活了，好做死人和活人的主。

你不要害怕將要遭受的苦難。魔鬼要將你們當中的一些人下在監裡，試煉你們，你們必遭受十天的迫害。但你要至死忠心，我必賜給你生命的冠冕。

毫無疑問，我們偉大的信仰奧妙無比：祂以肉身顯現，被聖靈證明為義，被天使看見，被傳揚到列邦，被世人信奉，被接到天上的榮耀中。

反而甘願放下一切，取了奴僕的形像，降生為人的樣子。祂以人的樣子出現後，就自願卑微，順服至死，而且死在十字架上。

我實實在在地告訴你們，一粒麥子如果不落在地裡死了，仍是一粒，如果死了，就會結出許多麥粒來。

「王又對左邊的人說，『你們這些被咒詛的人，走開！到專為魔鬼及其使者預備的永遠不滅的火裡去吧！
