Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured.

這樣，我們也當走出營外，到他那裏去，忍受他所受的凌辱。

這樣，我們也當走出營外，到他那裏去，忍受他所受的凌辱。

因此，讓我們也走出營外到祂那裡，忍受祂所忍受的凌辱吧！

那麼，讓我們也出到營外到他那裡去，擔當他的凌辱。

這樣，我們也當出到營外去找他，去擔當他所受的辱罵。

因此，讓我們到營地外面他那裡去，擔當他所受的責罵。

故我儕宜負其辱、出營外就之、

吾當遠離營壘、以就耶穌、亦受詬誶如彼焉、

故我儕當出營外就之、忍受其所受之辱、

因此亦宜出而就之於營外、而與之共受垢辱。

Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.

So let us go to him outside the camp. Let us be willing to suffer the shame he suffered.

We must go out to him, then, outside the camp, bearing the abuse he experienced.

Let’s therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.

He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward.

“ Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!

If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler.Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.

We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute.To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless,and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure;when slandered, we entreat. We have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, the refuse of all things.

Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name.

And those who passed by derided him, wagging their headsand saying,“ You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”So also the chief priests, with the scribes and elders, mocked him, saying,“ He saved others; he cannot save himself. With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you;

Then Jesus told his disciples,“ If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.

“ Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.

As they went out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name. They compelled this man to carry his cross.
