所以，耶穌要用自己的血叫百姓成聖，也就在城門外受苦。

同樣，耶穌也在城門外受難，為要用自己的血使祂的子民聖潔。

所以耶穌也是這樣在城門外受苦，為的是要藉著自己的血使人民成聖。

所以耶穌也是這樣：耶穌為要藉自己的血叫人民成聖，就在城外受苦。

所以耶穌為了藉著自己的血使子民分別為聖，也在城門外受難。

如是耶穌欲以己血聖民、亦受苦於邑門之外、

耶穌則以己血贖民罪而郭外受苦、

是以耶穌欲以己血使民成聖、亦受苦於邑門外、

故耶穌亦自殉於邑門之外、俾以其血聖化萬民。

And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.

並且不用山羊和牛犢的血，乃用自己的血，只一次進入聖所，成了永遠贖罪的事。若山羊和公牛的血，並母牛犢的灰，灑在不潔的人身上，尚且叫人成聖，身體潔淨，何況基督藉着永遠的靈，將自己無瑕無疵獻給神，他的血豈不更能洗淨你們的心，除去你們的死行，使你們事奉那永生神嗎？

把他推到城外，用石頭打他。作見證的人把衣裳放在一個少年人名叫掃羅的腳前。

因那使人成聖的和那些得以成聖的，都是出於一。所以，他稱他們為弟兄也不以為恥，

要用水藉着道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，

戲弄完了，就給他脫了紫袍，仍穿上他自己的衣服，帶他出去，要釘十字架。有一個古利奈人西門，就是亞歷山大和魯孚的父親，從鄉下來，經過那地方，他們就勉強他同去，好背着耶穌的十字架。他們帶耶穌到了各各他地方（各各他翻出來就是髑髏地），拿沒藥調和的酒給耶穌，他卻不受。於是將他釘在十字架上，拈鬮分他的衣服，看是誰得甚麼。

於是全會眾將他帶到營外，用石頭打死他，是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。

他們就把耶穌帶了去。耶穌背着自己的十字架出來，到了一個地方，名叫「髑髏地」，希伯來話叫各各他。他們就在那裏釘他在十字架上，還有兩個人和他一同釘着，一邊一個，耶穌在中間。

你們中間也有人從前是這樣；但如今你們奉主耶穌基督的名，並藉着我們神的靈，已經洗淨，成聖，稱義了。

於是，摩西曉諭以色列人，他們就把那咒詛聖名的人帶到營外，用石頭打死。以色列人就照耶和華所吩咐摩西的行了。

所以，前約也不是不用血立的；因為摩西當日照着律法將各樣誡命傳給眾百姓，就拿朱紅色絨和牛膝草，把牛犢山羊的血和水灑在書上，又灑在眾百姓身上，說：

惟有一個兵拿槍扎他的肋旁，隨即有血和水流出來。

約書亞和以色列眾人把謝拉的曾孫亞干和那銀子、那件衣服、那條金子，並亞干的兒女、牛、驢、羊、帳棚，以及他所有的，都帶到亞割谷去。

何況人踐踏神的兒子，將那使他成聖之約的血當作平常，又褻慢施恩的聖靈，你們想，他要受的刑罰該怎樣加重呢！

我為他們的緣故，自己分別為聖，叫他們也因真理成聖。
