他兒子們把牛犢的血遞給他，他用手指蘸血抹在壇角上，將剩下的血倒在壇腳旁。

至於公牛剩下的部分，即皮、所有的肉、頭顱、腿、內臟和糞便，他要帶到營外潔淨之處，就是倒壇灰的地方，放在柴上焚燒。

如果祭牲的血被帶進會幕，在聖所內進行贖罪，就不可吃祭肉，必須全部燒掉。
