大祭司要带一些牛血进入会幕，在耶和华面前用手指蘸血向幔子弹洒七次，也要把一些血抹在耶和华面前的香坛的四角上，然后把剩下的血倒在会幕门前的燔祭坛脚旁。他要取出公牛犊的所有脂肪，放在祭坛上焚烧，正如取出赎罪祭牲的脂肪一样。这样，大祭司为全体会众赎了罪，他们就会得到赦免。他要把这公牛犊剩下的部分拿到营外焚烧，像焚烧前一头公牛犊一样。这是为全体会众所献的赎罪祭。

他儿子们把牛犊的血递给他，他用手指蘸血抹在坛角上，将剩下的血倒在坛脚旁。

他要取一些牛血带进会幕里，在耶和华面前用手指蘸血向圣所的幔子弹洒七次，也要把一些血抹在耶和华面前的香坛的四角上，然后把剩下的血倒在会幕门口的燔祭坛脚旁。

至于公牛剩下的部分，即皮、所有的肉、头颅、腿、内脏和粪便，他要带到营外洁净之处，就是倒坛灰的地方，放在柴上焚烧。

如果祭牲的血被带进会幕，在圣所内进行赎罪，就不可吃祭肉，必须全部烧掉。
