You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.

If someone says,“ I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too.

Respect everyone, and love the family of believers. Fear God, and respect the king.

Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true.

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

This is my command: Love each other.

So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion— how can God’s love be in that person?Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.

Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate?Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.

“ But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!

And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had.They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need.They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—

Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place.

All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.
