If you are not disciplined— and everyone undergoes discipline— then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.

God trains all his children. But what if he doesn’t train you? Then you are not really his children. You are not God’s true sons and daughters at all.

If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all.

因為主所愛的，他必管教，他又鞭打所收納的每一個兒子。”

你們要用堅強的信心抵擋他，因為知道你們在世上的弟兄，也經歷過同樣的苦難。但滿有恩典的神，就是在基督裡召你們進入他永遠榮耀的那一位，在你們受了短暫的苦難之後，必定親自成全你們，堅固你們，賜力量給你們，建立你們。

因為我終日受傷害，每天早晨受懲罰。如果我心裡說：“我要說這樣的話”，我就是對你這一代的眾兒女不忠了。
