You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children,“ My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;

你们难道忘了那像劝勉儿子一样劝勉你们的话吗？“孩子啊，不可轻视主的管教，被祂责备的时候也不要灰心。

你们又忘记了那劝你们好像劝儿子的话，说：“我儿！你不可轻看主的管教，受责备的时候也不要灰心；

难道你们已经忘记那安慰的话吗？就是他对你们如同对儿女那样讲论的话：“我儿，你不可轻看主的管教；被他责备的时候，也不可丧气。

你們又忘了那勸你們如同勸兒子的話，說：我兒，你不可輕看主的管教，被他責備的時候也不可灰心；

你們又忘了上帝勸你們如同勸兒女的那些話，說：「我兒啊，不可輕看主的管教，被他責備的時候不可灰心；

而你們竟忘卻了那勸勉、那和你們、如同和兒子理論的話說：『我兒，主的管教你別小看；你受他指責、也別灰心；

難道你們已經忘記那安慰的話嗎？就是他對你們如同對兒女那樣講論的話：「我兒，你不可輕看主的管教；被他責備的時候，也不可喪氣。

又忘勸爾之言、如諭子曰、吾子乎、主懲爾、勿輕視、受其譴、勿喪志、

爾不憶上帝、勸勉爾若子曰、子乎、主責爾、勿輕視、主譴爾、勿喪膽、

爾曹又遺忘勸爾如子之言曰、我子、主懲爾、勿藐視、主責爾、勿喪膽、

夫天主訓爾如子、爾豈已忘之乎？其言曰：『吾兒莫輕鍛鍊恩、受主懲責毋灰心；

And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says,“ My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,

Have you completely forgotten this word of hope? It speaks to you as a father to his children. It says,“ My son, think of the Lord’s training as important. Do not lose hope when he corrects you.

And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons?“ My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.

And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said,“ My child, don’t make light of the Lord’s discipline, and don’t give up when he corrects you.

And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: My son, do not take the Lord’s discipline lightly or lose heart when you are reproved by him,

and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,“ My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, Nor faint when you are punished by Him;

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:“ My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;

and ye have forgotten the exhortation which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him;

And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: My son, do not take the Lord’s discipline lightly or faint when you are reproved by Him,

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

And have you forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons?“ My son, do not scorn the Lord’s discipline or give up when he corrects you.

My son, don’t despise Yahweh’s discipline, neither be weary of his correction;for whom Yahweh loves, he corrects, even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights.

“ Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects. Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.For he wounds and binds up. He injures and his hands make whole.

As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

Blessed is the man whom you discipline, Yah, and teach out of your law,

For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls.You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin.

Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.

Yah has punished me severely, but he has not given me over to death.

My soul is continually in my hand, yet I won’t forget your law.

We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;

Only be careful, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children’s children—the day that you stood before Yahweh your God in Horeb, when Yahweh said to me,“ Assemble the people to me, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.”

“ I have surely heard Ephraim grieving thus,‘ You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as an untrained calf. Turn me, and I will be turned; for you are Yahweh my God.

Yahweh, I know that your judgments are righteous, that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

Yahweh’s anger burned against Uzzah; and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by God’s ark.David was displeased, because Yahweh had broken out against Uzzah; and he called that place Perez Uzzah, to this day.David was afraid of Yahweh that day; and he said,“ How could Yahweh’s ark come to me?”So David would not move Yahweh’s ark to be with him in David’s city; but David carried it aside into Obed- Edom the Gittite’s house.

and said to them,“ You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.For because you didn’t carry it at first, Yahweh our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”

Yahweh, don’t rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath.Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am faint. Yahweh, heal me, for my bones are troubled.

I will delight myself in your statutes. I will not forget your word.

Joshua said,“ Alas, Lord Yahweh, why have you brought this people over the Jordan at all, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to cause us to perish? I wish that we had been content and lived beyond the Jordan!Oh, Lord, what shall I say, after Israel has turned their backs before their enemies?For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it, and will surround us, and cut off our name from the earth. What will you do for your great name?”Yahweh said to Joshua,“ Get up! Why have you fallen on your face like that?Israel has sinned. Yes, they have even transgressed my covenant which I commanded them. Yes, they have even taken some of the devoted things, and have also stolen, and also deceived. They have even put it among their own stuff.

My son, don’t forget my teaching; but let your heart keep my commandments:

“ For has any said to God,‘ I am guilty, but I will not offend any more.

It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline?

He has said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.

He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee,

Get wisdom. Get understanding. Don’t forget, and don’t deviate from the words of my mouth.

For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke. I don’t forget your statutes.

They remembered his words,

When they came to Chidon’s threshing floor, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.Yahweh’s anger burned against Uzza, and he struck him, because he put his hand on the ark; and he died there before God.David was displeased, because Yahweh had broken out against Uzza. He called that place Perez Uzza, to this day.David was afraid of God that day, saying,“ How can I bring God’s ark home to me?”So David didn’t move the ark with him into David’s city, but carried it aside into Obed- Edom the Gittite’s house.

Don’t you yet perceive, neither remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you took up?Nor the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you took up?
