西奈山全山冒烟，因为耶和华在火中降临山上。山的烟雾上腾，仿佛烧窑，整座山剧烈震动。

我，万军之耶和华狂怒，就是发烈怒的日子，要令天震动，地必摇撼，离其本位。

万军之耶和华如此说：过些时候，我必再一次震动天地、沧海与干地。我必震动万国，万国的珍宝都必运来，我就使这殿充满荣耀。这是万军之耶和华说的。

这“再一次”的话是指明被震动的要像受造之物一样被挪去，使那不被震动的能常存。

倾覆列国的宝座，除灭列邦列国的势力，并倾覆战车和坐在其上的。马和骑兵都必跌倒，各人被弟兄的刀所杀。

山岭见你，无不战抖；大水泛滥而过，深渊发声，汹涌翻腾。

耶和华必从锡安吼叫，从耶路撒冷出声，天地就震动。耶和华却要作他百姓的避难所，作以色列人的保障。

耶和华兴起使地大震动的时候，人就进入石洞和土穴里，躲避耶和华的惊吓和他威严的荣光。

大山哪，你为何踊跃如公羊？小山哪，你为何跳舞如羔羊？大地啊，在主的面前，在雅各的上帝的面前，震动吧！
