因为耶和华在火中降临到西奈山，整座山都冒着浓烟，滚滚上腾，好像一个大火窑，整座山都震动起来。

我万军之耶和华发烈怒的日子，必震动诸天，摇撼大地。

“‘万军之耶和华说，不久，我要再次震动天、地、海洋和旱地。万军之耶和华说，我要震动万国，万国的珍宝都要送到这殿，我要使这殿充满荣耀。

“再一次”这句话是指上帝要挪去可以被震动的受造之物，使不能被震动的可以长存。

推翻君王的宝座，消灭列国的势力，掀翻他们的战车和驾车的人，使战马跌倒、骑士自相残杀。

群山看见你就战栗，大雨倾盆，深渊翻腾，波浪滔天。

耶和华从锡安发出怒吼，从耶路撒冷发出雷声，天地为之震动。但耶和华却是祂子民的避难所，是以色列人的堡垒。

耶和华使大地震动的时候，众人躲进岩穴，藏入地洞，逃避祂的愤怒和威荣。

大山啊，你为何如公羊一般跳跃？小山啊，你为何像羊羔一样蹦跳？大地啊，你要在主面前，在雅各的上帝面前战抖，
