You have come to Jesus. He is the go- between of a new covenant. You have come to the sprinkled blood. It promises better things than the blood of Abel.

故此基督做了一個新的約的中保，蒙召的人就可以得到所應許的永世基業；因為已經有了受死的事、來贖赦前約之下犯法的罪了。

摩西將血潑在人民身上說：『看哪，這是盟約的血：這約是永恆主依據這一切話跟你們立的。』

永恆主說：『你幹了甚麼事？你兄弟的血有聲音從地裏向我哀叫呢。

因着信、他立了逾越節，行灑血禮，免得那毁滅者觸害着他們的首生者。

基督呢、其實基督既已得了更優越的領禮拜職分，他就依這量度、做更好之約的中保了；這個約是憑着更好的應許按律法而立的。

因着信、亞伯供獻了祭物與上帝、比該隱所供獻的美好，就藉着信得了讚許的證言稱他為義；上帝對他的禮物作證了，因此他死了、還藉着信而說話。

上帝只有一位，在上帝與人之間、中保也只有一位，就是作人的基督耶穌。

我們就可以用真心、本着堅確的信心、進前去朝拜，心被血灑過、除去邪惡的意識，身體也用清水洗淨過。

因為這是我的血，盟約的血，為許多人流出來，使罪得赦免的。

叫流在地上的義血都歸到你們身上，從義人亞伯的血起，直到巴拉加兒子撒迦利亞的血為止；他就是你們在殿堂和祭壇間所殺害的。

照父上帝所豫知、靠靈之聖化、而聽從耶穌基督、受他血灑的。願你們多多蒙恩平安。

『看吧，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，我必跟以色列家和猶大家立個新的約，不像我拉着他們祖宗的手、領他們出埃及地的日子、跟他們立的約那樣：我雖做他們的夫君，他們卻違犯了我的約：永恆主發神諭說。但那些日子以後，永恆主發神諭說，我跟以色列家所立的約乃是這樣：我必將我的律法放在他們裏面，寫在他們心上；我要做他們的上帝，他們要做我的子民。

就是帳幕和禮拜用的一切器皿，他也照樣地用血灑。

既然如此，耶穌就照這分量成為更好之約的中保了。

願賜平安的上帝、就是那憑永世之約的血把羣羊的大牧人、我們的主耶穌、從死人中領上來的、

耶穌對他們說：『這是我的血、盟約的血、替許多人流出來的。

從亞伯的血起，直到被滅在祭壇和聖所之間的撒迦利亞的血為止；實在的、我告訴你們，都要向這一代追討。

因為上帝真地指摘他的子民說：『看吧，日子必到，主說，我必跟以色列家和猶大家立個新的約。

你們要傾耳以聽，要來找我！你們要聽，就得以活；我必跟你們立個永遠的約，就是施給大衛那可信可靠之堅愛的。
