He said to them,“ This is My blood that establishes the covenant; it is shed for many.

from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary.“ Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible.

But finding fault with His people, He says: Look, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—

Pay attention and come to Me; listen, so that you will live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the promises assured to David.
