You have come to Jesus. He is the go- between of a new covenant. You have come to the sprinkled blood. It promises better things than the blood of Abel.

為此，基督做了新約的中保，藉著死贖清了人在第一個約之下的過犯，好使那些蒙召的人可以得到所應許的永恆繼業。

耶和華說：「你做了什麼呢？你弟弟的血從地裡發聲向我呼叫。

因著信，他立了逾越節和灑血的禮，免得那毀滅長子的碰以色列人。

但如今，耶穌得了更尊貴的服事工作，就像他也是更美好之約的中保那樣；這約建立在各樣更美好的應許之上。

因著信，亞伯向神獻上的祭物比該隱所獻的更好，就藉著信受到了讚許成為義人，因為神讚許他的禮物。他雖然死了，但藉著信仍然說話。

要知道，神只有一位，在神和人之間的中保也只有一位，就是成為人的基督耶穌；

既然我們的心被血灑過，脫離了罪惡感，身體也被清水洗淨了，就讓我們懷著真誠的心，以確信不移的信仰近前來；

因為這是我的血，是為立約的，為許多人所流的，使罪得赦免。

所以，從義人亞伯的血起，直到你們在聖所和祭壇之間所殺的巴拉加的兒子撒迦利亞的血為止，在地上所流的義人的血都要歸在你們身上。

就是按照父神的預知，藉著聖靈分別為聖，以致順從耶穌基督，又蒙他寶血所灑的人：願恩典與平安多多地加給你們！

晚餐後，他也照樣拿起杯來，說：「這杯是用我的血所立的新約，為你們所流的。

然後，他又同樣地把血灑在會幕和服事用的所有器皿上。

既然如此，耶穌也就成了更美好之約的保證人。

願賜平安的神，就是藉著永恆之約的血，把群羊的大牧人我們的主耶穌從死人中領上來的那一位，

耶穌對他們說：「這是我的血，是為立約的，為許多人所流的。

就是從亞伯的血起，直到在祭壇和聖所之間被殺的撒迦利亞的血為止。「是的，我告訴你們：這世代將要為此被追討。

因為神指責說：「看哪，時候就要到了！主說，我要與以色列家和猶大家訂立新約。

你們要側耳聽，來到我這裡；你們要聽，就得以存活。我必與你們立永遠的約，就是給大衛的信實慈愛的約。
