那景象實在可怕，連摩西也說：「我非常害怕戰兢。」

且所見者可畏之甚、致摩西云、我悚懼戰慄、

所見可畏、摩西曰、吾恐懼戰慄、

且所見者、可畏之甚、致摩西云、我恐懼戰慄、

摩西亦曰：『吾不勝恐懼戰慄。』其所見之可怖、可想而知矣。

The sight was so terrifying that Moses said,“ I am trembling with fear.”

Indeed, so terrifying was the sight that Moses said,“ I tremble with fear.”

In fact, the scene was so terrifying that Moses said,“ I shudder with fear.”

So fearful was the appearance that Moses said,“ I am terrified and trembling.”

Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.

And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice.

My flesh trembles for fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments.

For how can this servant of my Lord talk with you, my Lord? As for me, no strength remains in me now, nor is any breath left in me.”

For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure with which the Lord was angry with you, to destroy you. But the Lord listened to me at that time also.

And one cried to another and said:“ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.So I said:“ Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”

Therefore I was left alone when I saw this great vision, and no strength remained in me; for my vigor was turned to frailty in me, and I retained no strength.

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me,“ Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
