You haven’t come to a blast from God’s trumpet. You haven’t come to a voice speaking to you. When people heard that voice long ago, they begged it not to say anything more to them.

For they heard an awesome trumpet blast and a voice so terrible that they begged God to stop speaking.

and ye said, Behold, Jehovah our God hath showed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth speak with man, and he liveth.Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of Jehovah our God any more, then we shall die.For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?Go thou near, and hear all that Jehovah our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that Jehovah our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it.

Did ever a people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first;

And it came to pass on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of a trumpet exceeding loud; and all the people that were in the camp trembled.And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.And mount Sinai, the whole of it, smoked, because Jehovah descended upon it in fire; and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.And when the voice of the trumpet waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
