你們並不是來到了摸得著的山、燃燒著的火、陰雲、幽暗、風暴、

夫爾非至可捫火炎之山、及幽冥、昏暗、暴風、

爾所至者、非彼可捫之山、在彼有烈火、密雲、幽暗、暴風、

應知爾今所陟者、非一有形之山、其上有火焰靉靆、幽冥暴風。

You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm;

You haven’t come to a mountain that can be touched. You haven’t come to a mountain burning with fire. You haven’t come to darkness, gloom and storm.

For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest

You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai.

For you have not come to what could be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, gloom, and storm,

For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest,

For you have not come to what could be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, gloom, and storm,

For you have not come to something that can be touched, to a burning fire and darkness and gloom and a whirlwind

其時、爾眾來前、立於山下、其山之象幽深立遠、厥火炎炎、至凌霄漢。

民見雷迅電閃、角鳴烟障、則畏避遙立、

以上諸言、耶和華山上火中、幽深玄遠之處、以大聲諭眾、無所增益、勒於二碑、賜之於我。爾見遍山晦冥、厥火炎炎、聲由中出、爾既聞之、與族長長老至我前、曰、我之上帝耶和華、顯厥大榮、俾我目睹、我聞其聲、由火中出、今日始知上帝與人言、人尚保其生命。如我仍聽我上帝耶和華之言、則此大火、必燬我身、我將死亡、爾曷為使我死亡乎。蓋天下億兆、未有聽永生上帝之聲、由火中出、如我所聞、而尚保其生者。

其榮光狀如火焰、顯於山巔、以色列族無不目擊。

蓋上帝賜我儕、非畏難之心、乃勇行、仁愛、順理、

今而後、爾非奴之操心危、所操者乃子之心、籲曰、阿爸父也、

若定罪之法榮、則稱義之法益榮、

山之四周、爾範圍之、告於有眾曰、爾當謹恪、毋陟高崗、毋犯斯境、犯者死無赦。不以手執、必矢石攻擊、無論人畜、命莫能逃、迨角聲清越、始可登山。摩西下至民處、使民潔己濯衣。謂之曰、三日必備、勿御爾妻。○三日黎明、雷電交作、黑雲蔽山、角鳴甚厲、遍營之民、無不戰慄。摩西率民出帷幕、佇立山下、以迓上帝。耶和華由火中降臨於西乃山、煙燄四塞、如自洪爐出、山嶽震動。角鳴愈久、聲愈宏遠、摩西禱告、上帝應之以聲。耶和華既降臨於西乃山、自山巔召摩西、摩西登焉。耶和華曰、爾下、告於有眾、勿踰越以窺我、恐多殞沒。親我之祭司亦當自潔、免我震怒。

爾不法是主、而恩是主、則罪末由服爾矣、
