夫爾非至可捫火炎之山、及幽冥、昏暗、暴風、

爾所至者、非有形之山、在彼火焰靉靆、幽暗暴風、

爾所至者、非彼可捫之山、在彼有烈火、密雲、幽暗、暴風、

應知爾今所陟者、非一有形之山、其上有火焰靉靆、幽冥暴風。

You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm;

You haven’t come to a mountain that can be touched. You haven’t come to a mountain burning with fire. You haven’t come to darkness, gloom and storm.

For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest

You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai.

For you have not come to what could be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, gloom, and storm,

那时，你们近前来，站在山下；山上有火燃烧，直冲天顶，并有黑暗、密云、幽暗。

众百姓见雷轰、闪电、角声、山上冒烟，百姓看见就都战抖，远远站着。

“这些话是耶和华在山上，从火焰、密云、幽暗中，大声吩咐你们全会众的，再没有加添别的话了。他把这些话写在两块石版上，交给我。山被火焰烧着，你们听见从黑暗中发出的声音，那时，你们各支派的领袖和长老都挨近我。你们说：‘看哪，耶和华—我们的上帝将他的荣耀和他的伟大显给我们看，我们也听见他从火中发出的声音。今日我们看到上帝与人说话，人还活着。现在这大火将要吞灭我们，我们何必死呢？若再听见耶和华我们上帝的声音，我们就必死。凡血肉之躯，有谁像我们一样，听见了永生上帝从火中讲话的声音还能活着呢？

耶和华的荣耀在山顶上，在以色列人眼前，形状如吞噬的火。

因为上帝赐给我们的不是胆怯的心，而是刚强、仁爱、自制的心。

你们所领受的不是奴仆的灵，仍旧害怕；所领受的是儿子名分的灵，因此我们呼叫：“阿爸，父！”

若是那使人定罪的事奉有荣光，那使人称义的事奉的荣光就越发大了。

你要在山的周围给百姓划定界限，说：‘你们当谨慎，不可上山去，也不可摸山的边界。凡摸这山的，必被处死。不可用手碰他，要用石头打死，或射死；无论是人是牲畜，都不可活。’到角声拉长的时候，他们才可到山脚来。”摩西下山到百姓那里去，使他们分别为圣，他们就洗衣服。他对百姓说：“第三天要预备好；不可亲近女人。”到了第三天早晨，山上有雷轰、闪电和密云，并且角声非常响亮，营中的百姓尽都战抖。摩西率领百姓出营迎见上帝，都站在山下。西奈山全山冒烟，因为耶和华在火中降临山上。山的烟雾上腾，仿佛烧窑，整座山剧烈震动。角声越来越响，摩西说话，上帝以声音回答他。耶和华降临在西奈山顶上，耶和华召摩西上山顶，摩西就上去了。耶和华对摩西说：“你下去警告百姓，免得他们闯过来看耶和华，就会有许多人死亡。那些亲近耶和华的祭司也要把自己分别为圣，免得耶和华忽然出来击杀他们。”

罪必不能作你们的主，因你们不在律法之下，而是在恩典之下。
