後此欲得祝嘏、而反見棄、子雖號泣以求、父仍不回其志、是爾所知也、

後欲得祝福而反見棄、雖號泣求父回意、雖號泣求父回意或作雖號泣求悔改仍不能得、此爾所知也、○

伊梢後來之如何切望降福、而卒見拒絕、爾所知也。蓋大錯已鑄、噬臍莫及；雖痛哭流涕而求之、亦徒然矣。

其餘的童女隨後也來了，說：『主啊，主啊，給我們開門！』他卻回答說：『我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。』

若長荊棘和蒺藜，必被廢棄，近於咒詛，結局就是焚燒。

我就明明地告訴他們說：『我從來不認識你們，你們這些作惡的人，離開我去吧！』」

以撒為雅各祝福已畢，雅各從他父親那裏才出來，他哥哥以掃正打獵回來，也做了美味，拿來給他父親，說：「請父親起來，吃你兒子的野味，好給我祝福。」他父親以撒對他說：「你是誰？」他說：「我是你的長子以掃。」以撒就大大地戰兢，說：「你未來之先，是誰得了野味拿來給我呢？我已經吃了，為他祝福；他將來也必蒙福。」以掃聽了他父親的話，就放聲痛哭，說：「我父啊，求你也為我祝福！」以撒說：「你兄弟已經用詭計來將你的福分奪去了。」以掃說：「他名雅各，豈不是正對嗎？因為他欺騙了我兩次：他從前奪了我長子的名分，你看，他現在又奪了我的福分。」以掃又說：「你沒有留下為我可祝的福嗎？」以撒回答以掃說：「我已立他為你的主，使他的弟兄都給他作僕人，並賜他五穀新酒可以養生。我兒，現在我還能為你做甚麼呢？」以掃對他父親說：「父啊，你只有一樣可祝的福嗎？我父啊，求你也為我祝福！」以掃就放聲而哭。他父親以撒說：地上的肥土必為你所住；天上的甘露必為你所得。你必倚靠刀劍度日，又必事奉你的兄弟；到你強盛的時候，必從你頸項上掙開他的軛。以掃因他父親給雅各祝的福，就怨恨雅各，心裏說：「為我父親居喪的日子近了，到那時候，我要殺我的兄弟雅各。」

耶穌對眾人說：「你們要努力進窄門。我告訴你們，將來有許多人想要進去，卻是不能。及至家主起來關了門，你們站在外面叩門，說：『主啊，給我們開門！』他就回答說：『我不認識你們，不曉得你們是哪裏來的！』那時，你們要說：『我們在你面前吃過喝過，你也在我們的街上教訓過人。』他要說：『我告訴你們，我不曉得你們是哪裏來的。你們這一切作惡的人，離開我去吧！』

人必稱他們為被棄的銀渣，因為耶和華已經棄掉他們。

論到那些已經蒙了光照、嘗過天恩的滋味、又於聖靈有分，並嘗過神善道的滋味、覺悟來世權能的人，若是離棄道理，就不能叫他們重新懊悔了。因為他們把神的兒子重釘十字架，明明地羞辱他。

我呼喚，你們不肯聽從；我伸手，無人理會；反輕棄我一切的勸戒，不肯受我的責備。你們遭災難，我就發笑；驚恐臨到你們，我必嗤笑。驚恐臨到你們，好像狂風；災難來到，如同暴風；急難痛苦臨到你們身上。那時，你們必呼求我，我卻不答應，懇切地尋找我，卻尋不見。因為，你們恨惡知識，不喜愛敬畏耶和華，不聽我的勸戒，藐視我一切的責備，所以必吃自結的果子，充滿自設的計謀。

因為我們得知真道以後，若故意犯罪，贖罪的祭就再沒有了；惟有戰懼等候審判和那燒滅眾敵人的烈火。人干犯摩西的律法，憑兩三個見證人，尚且不得憐恤而死，何況人踐踏神的兒子，將那使他成聖之約的血當作平常，又褻慢施恩的聖靈，你們想，他要受的刑罰該怎樣加重呢！
