惟独从上头来的智慧，先是清洁，后是和平，温良柔顺，满有怜悯，多结善果，没有偏见，没有假冒。并且使人和平的，是用和平所栽种的义果。

耶和华虽严严地惩治我，却未曾将我交于死亡。

趁有指望，管教你的儿子；你的心不可任他死亡。

生身的父都是暂随己意管教我们；惟有万灵的父管教我们，是要我们得益处，使我们在他的圣洁上有份。

爱你律法的人有大平安，什么都不能使他们绊脚。

因此，你们是大有喜乐；但如今，在百般的试炼中暂时忧愁，

舍弃正路的，必受严刑；恨恶责备的，必致死亡。

公义的果效必是平安；公义的效验必是平稳，直到永远。

圣灵所结的果子，就是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、温柔、节制。这样的事没有律法禁止。

惟独长大成人的才能吃干粮；他们的心窍习练得通达，就能分辨好歹了。

只是要弃绝那世俗的言语和老妇荒渺的话，在敬虔上操练自己。“操练身体，益处还少；惟独敬虔，凡事都有益处，因有今生和来生的应许。”

我就要用杖责罚他们的过犯，用鞭责罚他们的罪孽。

因为神的国不在乎吃喝，只在乎公义、和平，并圣灵中的喜乐。

他们满眼是淫色，止不住犯罪，引诱那心不坚固的人，心中习惯了贪婪，正是被咒诅的种类。
