Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.

苟無信德、安能取悅。蓋人之親近天主、必先篤信實有天主、與夫天主之有求必應也。

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Those who come to God must believe that he exists. And they must believe that he rewards those who look to him.

I will bring you again to the place from where I caused you to be carried away captive.”

I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.

But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

But seek God’s Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you.

Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.

Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.

With my whole heart, I have sought you. Don’t let me wander from your commandments.

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?

Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;

Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter into it, and they to whom the good news was preached before failed to enter in because of disobedience,

He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.

But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord Yahweh my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.

Jesus said to him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ How long will this people despise me? and how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have worked among them?

Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked to the reward.

For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn’t profit them, because it wasn’t mixed with faith by those who heard.

( for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

For all this they still sinned, and didn’t believe in his wondrous works.

Yes, they despised the pleasant land. They didn’t believe his word,

because they didn’t believe in God, and didn’t trust in his salvation.

By night on my bed, I sought him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but I didn’t find him.I will get up now, and go about the city; in the streets and in the squares I will seek him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but I didn’t find him.The watchmen who go about the city found me;“ Have you seen him whom my soul loves?”I had scarcely passed from them, when I found him whom my soul loves. I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother’s house, into the room of her who conceived me.

Wicked people earn deceitful wages, but one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.

They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt,wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome things by the Red Sea.

I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.”

These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;

Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge;

After these things Yahweh’s word came to Abram in a vision, saying,“ Don’t be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Turn your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul will live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.

Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you didn’t believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

They tell God,‘ Depart from us, for we don’t want to know about your ways.

so that men shall say,“ Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous. Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth.”

He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. He who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward.Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, most certainly I tell you he will in no way lose his reward.”

The head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If you will not believe, surely you shall not be established.’”

“ When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward.

“ Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.

May Yahweh repay your work, and a full reward be given to you from Yahweh, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”

Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

“ Be careful that you don’t do your charitable giving before men, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.Therefore when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.

Generation, consider Yahweh’s word. Have I been a wilderness to Israel? Or a land of thick darkness? Why do my people say,‘ We have broken loose. We will come to you no more?’
