“ As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore!

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;

Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience,

“ He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey?So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works.

Jesus said to him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;

Then the Lord said to Moses:“ How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them?

Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.

For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

THE SHULAMITE: By night on my bed I sought the one I love; I sought him, but I did not find him.“ I will rise now,” I said,“ And go about the city; In the streets and in the squares I will seek the one I love.” I sought him, but I did not find him.The watchmen who go about the city found me; I said,“ Have you seen the one I love?”Scarcely had I passed by them, When I found the one I love. I held him and would not let him go, Until I had brought him to the house of my mother, And into the chamber of her who conceived me.

The wicked man does deceptive work, But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward.

They forgot God their Savior, Who had done great things in Egypt,Wondrous works in the land of Ham, Awesome things by the Red Sea.

Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,“ Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you— The sure mercies of David.

But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

Yet they say to God,‘ Depart from us, For we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways.

So that men will say,“ Surely there is a reward for the righteous; Surely He is God who judges in the earth.”

He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

The head of Ephraim is Samaria, And the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If you will not believe, Surely you shall not be established.”’”

“ And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

“ Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

“ Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

“ O generation, see the word of the Lord! Have I been a wilderness to Israel, Or a land of darkness? Why do My people say,‘ We are lords; We will come no more to You’?
