Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.

I love those who love me, and those who search for me find me.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.

“ As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

“ But seek His kingdom, and these things will be provided for you.

Honor His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.Search for the Lord and for His strength; seek His face always.

Therefore, He is always able to save those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.

I have sought You with all my heart; don’t let me wander from Your commands.

But how can they call on Him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about Him? And how can they hear without a preacher?

Watch out, brothers, so that there won’t be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that departs from the living God.

Since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news did not enter because of disobedience,

Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.“ This, then, is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.

And who did He swear to that they would not enter His rest, if not those who disobeyed?So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.

But as for me, God’s presence is my good. I have made the Lord God my refuge, so I can tell about all You do.

Jesus told him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Therefore, dear friends, while you wait for these things, make every effort to be found at peace with Him without spot or blemish.

The Lord said to Moses,“ How long will these people despise Me? How long will they not trust in Me despite all the signs I have performed among them?

Therefore, brothers, make every effort to confirm your calling and election, because if you do these things you will never stumble.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.

For he considered the reproach because of the Messiah to be greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, since his attention was on the reward.

For we also have received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard did not benefit them, since they were not united with those who heard it in faith

( for the law perfected nothing), but a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.

Despite all this, they kept sinning and did not believe His wonderful works.

But the cowards, unbelievers, vile, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars— their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

They despised the pleasant land and did not believe His promise.

because they did not believe God or rely on His salvation.

In my bed at night I sought the one I love; I sought him, but did not find him.I will arise now and go about the city, through the streets and the plazas. I will seek the one I love. I sought him, but did not find him.The guards who go about the city found me. I asked them,“ Have you seen the one I love?”I had just passed them when I found the one I love. I held on to him and would not let him go until I brought him to my mother’s house— to the chamber of the one who conceived me.

The wicked man earns an empty wage, but the one who sows righteousness, a true reward.

They forgot God their Savior, who did great things in Egypt,wonderful works in the land of Ham, awe-inspiring acts at the Red Sea.

Therefore I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge,

After these events, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield; your reward will be very great.

Pay attention and come to Me; listen, so that you will live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the promises assured to David.

But love your enemies, do what is good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is gracious to the ungrateful and evil.

But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you did not trust Me to show My holiness in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this assembly into the land I have given them.”

Yet they say to God:“ Leave us alone! We don’t want to know Your ways.

Then people will say,“ Yes, there is a reward for the righteous! There is a God who judges on earth!”

Anyone who welcomes a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. And anyone who welcomes a righteous person because he’s righteous will receive a righteous person’s reward.And whoever gives just a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple— I assure you: He will never lose his reward!”

the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you do not stand firm in your faith, then you will not stand at all.

“ Whenever you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by people. I assure you: They’ve got their reward!

“ Whenever you fast, don’t be sad-faced like the hypocrites. For they make their faces unattractive so their fasting is obvious to people. I assure you: They’ve got their reward!

May the Lord reward you for what you have done, and may you receive a full reward from the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”

Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

“ Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of people, to be seen by them. Otherwise, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.So whenever you give to the poor, don’t sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be applauded by people. I assure you: They’ve got their reward!

Evil generation, pay attention to the word of the Lord! Have I been a wilderness to Israel or a land of dense darkness? Why do My people claim,“ We will go where we want; we will no longer come to You”?
