伊諾被攝昇天、未嘗見死、蓋「天主攝之、人間無得而再遇、」是亦信德之效也。何則、彼於被攝之前、固已得見悅於天主之明證。

以诺因着信，被接去，不至于见死，人也找不着他，因为神已经把他接去了；只是他被接去以先，已经得了神喜悦他的明证。

By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death:“ He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

Enoch had faith. So he was taken from this life. He didn’t die.“ He couldn’t be found, because God had taken him away.”( Genesis 5:24) Before God took him, Enoch was praised as one who pleased God.

By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.

It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—“ he disappeared, because God took him.” For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God.

應憐年光促。人生似浮萍。

予剴切告爾、人守吾道、永不嘗死亡之味。』猶太人曰：『今知爾果被魔矣！夫亞伯漢死矣、諸先知亡矣、而爾則曰：「人守吾道、永不嘗死亡之味、」

苟無信德、安能取悅。蓋人之親近天主、必先篤信實有天主、與夫天主之有求必應也。

此輩之終局、亞當七世孫伊納夙已預言之矣。其言曰：『主已偕其萬聖而來矣！

二證既死、天下萬國之人紛來觀屍、凡三日有半；且不許安葬於墓。當是時、世人咸將手舞足蹈以慶其亡、各備禮物、互相忻賀；蓋二先知曾痛懲斯世之人也。越三日有半、天主之生氣入其屍身、二證復起、見者莫不駭愕。二證聞大音自天呼之曰：「升此！」即飄然乘雲升天、諸敵皆目擊。

其上瑪牘撒理、其上藹諾、其上雅肋、其上馬辣理、其上加衣納、

吾人之了悟宇宙為天主命名之所締造、而有形出於無形者、憑信德也。昔亞伯具有信德、故其所獻於天主之犧牲、遠勝乎加因之所獻也。彼因是而得稱義、即天主亦嘉納其禮焉。厥後其身雖死、其言不朽者、亦信德之力也。

故凡體欲之情者、必不能取悅於天主也。倘若天主之神寓於爾心、則爾不依乎欲、而依乎神矣。蓋無基督之神者、非其徒也。

吾儕既承天主不棄、托以福音、故惟知率直講道、不欲取悅於人、但欲取悅於洞察人心之天主而已。
