By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.

那时，他想起古时的日子，就是摩西和他子民的日子：那把他们和他群羊的牧人们从海里带上来的，在哪里呢？那把他的圣灵降在他们当中的，在哪里呢？那让自己荣耀的膀臂在摩西右边作工，在他们面前把水分开，为自己成就永远之名的，在哪里呢？那领他们走过深渊的，在哪里呢？他们像旷野中的马没有绊跌；耶和华的灵使他们得享安息，好像牲畜下到山谷得享安息。你这样引领了你的子民，为自己成就荣耀之名。求你从天上垂看，从你圣洁、荣耀的崇高居所观看！你的热心和你的大能在哪里呢？你内心的激情和你的怜悯向我们止住了。即使亚伯拉罕不认识我们，以色列不承认我们，你还是我们的父。耶和华啊，你是我们的父！自古以来，你的名字就是“我们的救赎主”。

耶和华将使埃及的海湾枯干，他在大河之上挥手发出暴热的风，把它打破为七条溪流，使人可以穿着鞋走过去。必有一条从亚述而来的大道，为他子民中残留的余剩者所预备，就像以色列人从埃及地上来之日，为他们所预备的那样。

耶和华的膀臂啊，醒来，醒来，以力量为衣！醒来吧，就像你在太初的日子、亘古的世代！从前砍碎拉哈伯、刺透海中巨兽的，难道不是你吗？使海洋深渊之水干涸的，使海洋深处变为道路，让救赎之民经过的，难道不是你吗？

当以色列从埃及出来，雅各家离开言语陌生之民的时候，犹大成为耶和华的圣所，以色列成为他的国度。海水看见了就逃跑，约旦河也倒流。群山跳跃如公羊，冈陵跳跃如羊羔。海水啊，你为什么逃跑呢？约旦河啊，你为什么倒流呢？

他曾把海变成干地，众人曾步行过河——在那里，让我们因他而欢喜！

当称谢那把红海分为两边的，因他的慈爱永远长存！他使以色列从其中经过，因他的慈爱永远长存！却把法老和他的军队抖落在红海中，因他的慈爱永远长存！
