By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he persevered, as though seeing Him who is unseen.

他因着信，就离开埃及，不怕王怒；因为他恒心忍耐，如同看见那不能看见的主。

因著信，他不怕王的憤怒，離開了埃及，因為他恆心忍耐，如同看見了不可見的那一位。

彼以信而去埃及、不畏王怒、蓋堅忍如見莫能見者、

摩西有信、則離埃及不惴王怒、其恆心如見無形之上帝、

彼有信、離伊及不畏王怒、彼有恆心、如見不可見者、

厥後又憑信德、不恤君王之震怒、而逃出埃及。蓋其心目中常有形而上之天主、故能百折不撓、磨而不磷也。

By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.

Because of his faith, Moses left Egypt. It wasn’t because he was afraid of the king’s anger. He didn’t let anything stop him. That’s because he saw the God who can’t be seen.

By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible.

It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible.

By faith he left Egypt behind, not being afraid of the king’s anger, for Moses persevered as one who sees him who is invisible.

By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.

By faith he left Egypt behind, not being afraid of the king’s anger, for Moses persevered as one who sees Him who is invisible.

All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen and welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.

Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, a proof of things not seen.

But he said,“ Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and said,“ Surely the matter has become known!”When Pharaoh heard about this matter, he tried to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the presence of Pharaoh and settled in the land of Midian, and he sat down by a well.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

As Pharaoh approached, the sons of Israel looked, and behold, the Egyptians were coming after them, and they became very frightened; so the sons of Israel cried out to the Lord.Then they said to Moses,“ Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us in this way, bringing us out of Egypt?Is this not the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying,‘ Leave us alone so that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness!”But Moses said to the people,“ Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will perform for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again, ever.

Then Pharaoh said to him,“ Get away from me! Be careful, do not see my face again, for on the day you see my face, you shall die!”Moses said,“ You have spoken correctly; I shall never see your face again!”

Then all the sons of Israel did so; they did just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron.

I have set the Lord continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

Now the Lord said to Moses in Midian,“ Go back to Egypt, for all the men who were seeking your life are dead.”

Now the sons of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, aside from children.A mixed multitude also went up with them, along with flocks and herds, a very large number of livestock.And they baked the dough which they had brought out of Egypt into cakes of unleavened bread. For it had no yeast, since they were driven out of Egypt and could not delay, nor had they prepared any provisions for themselves.Now the time that the sons of Israel had lived in Egypt was 430 years.And at the end of 430 years, on this very day, all the multitudes of the Lord departed from the land of Egypt.It is a night to be observed for the Lord, for having brought them out of the land of Egypt; this night is for the Lord, to be observed by all the sons of Israel throughout their generations.

Now you shall eat it in this way: with your garment belted around your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in a hurry— it is the Lord’s Passover.

But remember the former days, when, after being enlightened, you endured a great conflict of sufferings,

looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved.

Now when Pharaoh had let the people go, God did not lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, even though it was near; for God said,“ The people might change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.”Therefore God led the people around by way of the wilderness to the Red Sea; and the sons of Israel went up in battle formation from the land of Egypt.And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for he had made the sons of Israel solemnly swear, saying,“ God will certainly take care of you, and you shall carry my bones from here with you.”Then they set out from Succoth and camped in Etham, on the edge of the wilderness.And the Lord was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way, and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light, so that they might travel by day and by night.

For David says of Him,‘ I saw the Lord continually before me, Because He is at my right hand, so that I will not be shaken.

and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

And all these servants of yours will come down to me and bow themselves before me, saying,‘ Go out, you and all the people who follow you,’ and after that I will go out.” And he left Pharaoh in the heat of anger.

And you will be hated by everyone because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.

And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise.

while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

and yet they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution occurs because of the word, immediately they fall away.

And you will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.
