And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months.But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river’s bank.And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him.Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river. And her maidens walked along the riverside; and when she saw the ark among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it.And when she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said,“ This is one of the Hebrews’ children.”Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter,“ Shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you?”And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her,“ Go.” So the maiden went and called the child’s mother.Then Pharaoh’s daughter said to her,“ Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.” So the woman took the child and nursed him.And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. So she called his name Moses, saying,“ Because I drew him out of the water.”

“ And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!

“ Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you,” says the Lord And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

So we may boldly say:“ The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king,“ O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.

“ I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid Of a man who will die, And of the son of a man who will be made like grass?

In God( I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?

“ Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, You people in whose heart is My law: Do not fear the reproach of men, Nor be afraid of their insults.

“ Do not say,‘ A conspiracy,’ Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.The Lord of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear, And let Him be your dread.
