主云、爾如蚯蚓之雅各、爾曹以色列人乎、勿畏懼、我救濟爾、贖爾者、乃以色列之聖主、

殺身而不能殺靈者、勿懼之、惟能以身與靈同滅於磯很拿者、是乃爾所當懼、

主保護我、我無所恐懼、世人能以何害加於我乎、

故我儕可毅然曰、主乃助我、我無所畏、人能以何害加我、我無所畏人能以何害加我或作任人向我何為我皆不懼○

毋畏葸、我必祐爾、勿膽怯、我乃爾之天主、必堅強爾、濟助爾、我必以施救之右手扶持爾、

沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌、對王曰、尼布甲尼撒歟、王此言我儕不必答之、或作沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌對尼布甲尼撒王曰論及斯事我儕不必答王有我所事之天主、能救我於炎烈之火窰、脫我於王手、即不然、王亦當知我儕不事王之神、不拜王所立之金像、

但以理既知王詔已頒、則歸其家、其家有樓室、牖向耶路撒冷而啟、在彼一日三次、屈膝曲跽、禱告祝謝其天主、與素日無異、

主曰、慰藉爾者惟我、惟我、爾為誰、竟懼必死之人、畏彼似草萊之世人、世人或作亞當之子

我追念天主所應許之言、我讚美天主、倚賴天主、即無所恐懼、世人何能害我、

悅義而心存我法之人、當聽我言、毋畏人之譏誚、毋因人之毀謗而喪膽、

斯民所以為結黨結黨或作結盟下同者、爾勿以為結黨、勿畏其所畏、勿驚其所驚、惟以萬有之主為聖、惟以主為可畏可驚、
