第三日，亚伯拉罕举目观望，远远地看见了那地方。亚伯拉罕对他的童仆说：“你们和驴留在这里，我与孩子要到那边去敬拜，然后回到你们这里来。”

耶稣进了房子，他们来到他那里。耶稣问他们：“你们信我能作这些事吗？”他们回答：“主啊，我们信。”

亚伯拉罕举目观望，看见在后面有一只公绵羊，两角扣在稠密的小树丛中；亚伯拉罕就去取了那只公绵羊，把它献为燔祭，代替自己的儿子。

愿荣耀归给神，就是归给那能照着运行在我们里面的大能，充充足足地成就一切，超过我们所求所想的。

因着信，甚至撒拉，她虽然过了生育的年龄，还是能够怀孕，因为她认为那应许她的是信实的。所以从一个好像已死的人，竟然生出许多子孙来，仿佛天上的星那么众多，海边的沙那么无数。

因为基督不是进了人手所做的圣所（那不过是真圣所的表象），而是进到天上，现在替我们显露在神的面前。

可是，从亚当到摩西，死就掌权了，甚至那些不像亚当那样犯罪的人，也在死的权下；亚当正是要来的那一位的预表。
