For the One who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers,

Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God( the heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels in festive gathering,

God also said to Moses,“ Say this to the Israelites: Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever; this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.

I will keep My covenant between Me and you, and your future offspring throughout their generations, as an everlasting covenant to be your God and the God of your offspring after you.And to you and your future offspring I will give the land where you are residing— all the land of Canaan— as an eternal possession, and I will be their God.”

The Lord will rescue me from every evil work and will bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever! Amen.

But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, descendant of Abraham, My friend—I brought you from the ends of the earth and called you from its farthest corners. I said to you: You are My servant; I have chosen you and not rejected you.Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.

Now those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.

Don’t be afraid, little flock, because your Father delights to give you the kingdom.

I am the God of your fathers— the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob. So Moses began to tremble and did not dare to look.

Yahweh was standing there beside him, saying,“ I am Yahweh, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your offspring the land that you are now sleeping on.

For whoever is ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

Now concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’t you read what was spoken to you by God:I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

“ This will take place,” He continued,“ so they will believe that Yahweh, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”

Moses even indicated in the passage about the burning bush that the dead are raised, where he calls the Lord the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.

and the Lord appeared to him that night and said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your offspring because of My servant Abraham.”

Now concerning the dead being raised— haven’t you read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the burning bush, how God spoke to him: I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob?

“ At that time”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be My people.”
