论到这救恩，那预先说你们要得恩典的众先知早已详细地寻求考察，就是考察在他们心里基督的灵，预先证明基督受苦难，后来得荣耀，是指着什么时候，并怎样的时候。他们得了启示，知道他们所传讲的一切事，不是为自己，乃是为你们。那靠着从天上差来的圣灵传福音给你们的人，现在将这些事报给你们；天使也愿意详细察看这些事。

且满心相信神所应许的必能做成。

他说：“我如今老了，不知道哪一天死。现在拿你的器械，就是箭囊和弓，往田野去为我打猎，照我所爱的做成美味，拿来给我吃，使我在未死之先给你祝福。”

亲爱的弟兄啊，你们是客旅，是寄居的。我劝你们要禁戒肉体的私欲；这私欲是与灵魂争战的。

你们既称那不偏待人、按各人行为审判人的主为父，就当存敬畏的心度你们在世寄居的日子，

约瑟对他弟兄们说：“我要死了，但神必定看顾你们，领你们从这地上去，到他起誓所应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地。”

我是在地上作寄居的；求你不要向我隐瞒你的命令！

以色列又对约瑟说：“我要死了，但神必与你们同在，领你们回到你们列祖之地。

“我算什么，我的民算什么，竟能如此乐意奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们把从你而得的献给你。我们在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，与我们列祖一样。我们在世的日子如影儿，不能长存。

雅各嘱咐众子已毕，就把脚收在床上，气绝而死，归他列祖那里去了。

我看他却不在现时；我望他却不在近日。有星要出于雅各，有杖要兴于以色列，必打破摩押的四角，毁坏扰乱之子。

以赛亚因为看见他的荣耀，就指着他说这话。

圭必不离犹大，杖必不离他两脚之间，直等细罗来到，万民都必归顺。

这一切是以色列的十二支派；这也是他们的父亲对他们所说的话，为他们所祝的福，都是按着各人的福分为他们祝福。
