But my righteous one will live by faith; and if he draws back, I have no pleasure in him.

And,“ But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

And,“ The one who is right with God will live by faith. And I am not pleased with the one who pulls back.”( Habakkuk 2:3, 4)

but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.

Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because the righteous will live by faith.

Look, his ego is inflated; he is without integrity. But the righteous one will live by his faith.

I will listen to what God will say; surely the LORD will declare peace to his people, his faithful ones, and not let them go back to foolish ways.

But he has no root and is short-lived. When distress or persecution comes because of the word, immediately he falls away.

and those who turn back from following the LORD, who do not seek the LORD or inquire of him.

They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption, since people are enslaved to whatever defeats them.For if, having escaped the world’s impurity through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in these things and defeated, the last state is worse for them than the first.For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy command delivered to them.It has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to its own vomit, and,“ A washed sow returns to wallowing in the mud.”

For if we deliberately go on sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire about to consume the adversaries.

For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation.

But when a righteous person turns from his righteousness and acts unjustly, committing the same detestable acts that the wicked do, will he live? None of the righteous acts he did will be remembered. He will die because of the treachery he has engaged in and the sin he has committed.

“ When an unclean spirit comes out of a person, it roams through waterless places looking for rest but doesn’t find any.Then it says,‘ I’ll go back to my house that I came from.’ Returning, it finds the house vacant, swept, and put in order.Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and settle down there. As a result, that person’s last condition is worse than the first. That’s how it will also be with this evil generation.”

For it is impossible to renew to repentance those who were once enlightened, who tasted the heavenly gift, who shared in the Holy Spirit,who tasted God’s good word and the powers of the coming age,and who have fallen away. This is because, to their own harm, they are recrucifying the Son of God and holding him up to contempt.

The LORD values those who fear him, those who put their hope in his faithful love.

Now if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and acts unjustly, and I put a stumbling block in front of him, he will die. If you did not warn him, he will die because of his sin, and the righteous acts he did will not be remembered. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.

“ I wish one of you would shut the temple doors, so that you would no longer kindle a useless fire on my altar! I am not pleased with you,” says the LORD of Armies,“ and I will accept no offering from your hands.

For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil cannot dwell with you.

They went out from us, but they did not belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. However, they went out so that it might be made clear that none of them belongs to us.

Here is my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

“ This is my servant; I strengthen him, this is my chosen one; I delight in him. I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring justice to the nations.
