And,“ But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

And,“ The one who is right with God will live by faith. And I am not pleased with the one who pulls back.”( Habakkuk 2:3, 4)

Now that no man is justified by the law before God, is evident: for, The righteous shall live by faith;

Behold, his soul is puffed up, it is not upright in him; but the righteous shall live by his faith.

I will hear what God Jehovah will speak; For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: But let them not turn again to folly.

yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightway he stumbleth.

and them that are turned back from following Jehovah; and those that have not sought Jehovah, nor inquired after him.

promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he also brought into bondage.For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, the last state is become worse with them than the first.For it were better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered unto them.It has happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog turning to his own vomit again, and the sow that had washed to wallowing in the mire.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.

For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.

But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? None of his righteous deeds that he hath done shall be remembered: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

But the unclean spirit, when he is gone out of the man, passeth through waterless places, seeking rest, and findeth it not.Then he saith, I will return into my house whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man becometh worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this evil generation.

For as touching those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come,and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Jehovah taketh pleasure in them that fear him, In those that hope in his lovingkindness.

Again, when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thy hand.

Oh that there were one among you that would shut the doors, that ye might not kindle fire on mine altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you, saith Jehovah of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: Evil shall not sojourn with thee.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they all are not of us.

Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, And he shall declare judgment to the Gentiles.

Behold, my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove out us, and please not God, and are contrary to all men;
