Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you!”Then he said to Thomas,“ Put your finger here, and examine my hands. Extend your hand and put it into my side. Do not continue in your unbelief, but believe.”Thomas replied to him,“ My Lord and my God!”Jesus said to him,“ Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are the people who have not seen and yet have believed.”

When they had entered Jerusalem, they went to the upstairs room where they were staying. Peter and John, and James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James were there.All these continued together in prayer with one mind, together with the women, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.

But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragement, and consolation.

Now when you come together at the same place, you are not really eating the Lord’s Supper.

Let everyone see your gentleness. The Lord is near!

You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord’s return is near.

So also you, when you see these things happening, know that he is near, right at the door.I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.

each builder’s work will be plainly seen, for the Day will make it clear, because it will be revealed by fire. And the fire will test what kind of work each has done.

Therefore, dear friends, since you are waiting for these things, strive to be found at peace, without spot or blemish, when you come into his presence.

The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because he does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

For the culmination of all things is near. So be self- controlled and sober- minded for the sake of prayer.

These people are divisive, worldly, devoid of the Spirit.

So also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near, right at the door.I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.

Since all these things are to melt away in this manner, what sort of people must we be, conducting our lives in holiness and godliness,

Now as we were going to the place of prayer, a slave girl met us who had a spirit that enabled her to foretell the future by supernatural means. She brought her owners a great profit by fortune- telling.

So if the whole church comes together and all speak in tongues, and unbelievers or uninformed people enter, will they not say that you have lost your minds?
