Jesus* came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said,“ Peace be to you.”Then He* said to Thomas,“ Place your finger here, and see My hands; and take your hand and put it into My side; and do not continue in disbelief, but be a believer.”Thomas answered and said to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”Jesus* said to him,“ Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”

When they had entered the city, they went up to the upstairs room where they were staying, that is, Peter, John, James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.All these were continually devoting themselves with one mind to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

But the one who prophesies speaks to people for edification, exhortation, and consolation.

Therefore when you come together it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper,

Let your gentle spirit be known to all people. The Lord is near.

You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.

So you too, when you see these things happening, recognize that He is near, right at the door.Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.

each one’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each one’s work.

Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found spotless and blameless by Him, at peace,

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.

These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly minded, devoid of the Spirit.

so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.

Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

It happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a slave woman who had a spirit of divination met us, who was bringing great profit to her masters by fortune telling.

Therefore if the whole church gathers together and all the people speak in tongues, and outsiders or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are insane?
