Even though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them. He said,“ Peace to you!”Then He said to Thomas,“ Put your finger here and observe My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Don’t be an unbeliever, but a believer.”Thomas responded to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”Jesus said,“ Because you have seen Me, you have believed. Those who believe without seeing are blessed.”

When they arrived, they went to the room upstairs where they were staying: Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.All these were continually united in prayer, along with the women, including Mary the mother of Jesus, and His brothers.

But the person who prophesies speaks to people for edification, encouragement, and consolation.

Therefore, when you come together in one place, it is not really to eat the Lord’s Supper.

Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.

You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.

In the same way, when you see these things happening, know that He is near— at the door!I assure you: This generation will certainly not pass away until all these things take place.

each one’s work will become obvious, for the day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire; the fire will test the quality of each one’s work.

Therefore, dear friends, while you wait for these things, make every effort to be found at peace with Him without spot or blemish.

The Lord does not delay His promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.

Now the end of all things is near; therefore, be serious and disciplined for prayer.

These people create divisions and are unbelievers, not having the Spirit.

In the same way, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near— at the door!I assure you: This generation will certainly not pass away until all these things take place.

Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness

Once, as we were on our way to prayer, a slave girl met us who had a spirit of prediction. She made a large profit for her owners by fortune-telling.

Therefore, if the whole church assembles together and all are speaking in other languages and people who are uninformed or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your minds?
