and having a great priest over God’s house,

又有一位大祭司治理神的家，

既然我們有一位偉大祭司治理上帝的家，

既然我們有一位偉大祭司治理神的家，

並且，我們有一位大祭司管理上帝的家，

我們既然有一位偉大的祭司治理神的家，

我們又既有一位尊大的祭司治理上帝的家，

既然我們有一位偉大的祭司管理神的家，

且既有大祭司宰上帝家、

我得大祭司、理上帝宮、

且既有大祭司、理天主之家、

今吾人在天主宅中、既有偌大之司祭矣；

and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

We also have a great priest over the house of God.

And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house,

and since we have a great high priest over the house of God,

and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

and having a High Priest over the house of God,

and having a great priest over the house of God;

and since we have a great high priest over the house of God,

And[ having] an high priest over the house of God;

and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

Therefore he was obligated in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

but if I wait long, that you may know how men ought to behave themselves in God’s house, which is the assembly of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Now in the things which we are saying, the main point is this. We have such a high priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,

where as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

Having then a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let’s hold tightly to our confession.For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.

For such a high priest was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,

For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.

For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble,each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you?If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.

I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God,being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

What agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said,“ I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”Therefore“‘ Come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord.‘ Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you.
