上帝曾向何天使云、爾坐我右、迨我置爾敵為爾足几、

上帝對何天使言曰、坐我右、我將以爾敵、置爾足下、

所有天使、天主曾向誰云、爾坐於我右、待我使爾敵為爾足凳、

且天主亦何嘗謂一天神曰：『坐我之右、待我克爾之敵、以供爾之踐踏』乎？

To which of the angels did God ever say,“ Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

God never said to an angel,“ Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your control.”( Psalm 110:1)

And God never said to any of the angels,“ Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”

Now to which of the angels has he ever said: Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool?

The Lord says to my Lord:“ Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”

“‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”’?

For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says,“‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand,until I make your enemies your footstool.”’Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

David himself, in the Holy Spirit, declared,“‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet.”’

But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet.

His enemies I will clothe with shame, but on him his crown will shine.”

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.

The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself.He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead,“ Come, gather for the great supper of God,to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great.”And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army.And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.

Your hand will find out all your enemies; your right hand will find out those who hate you.You will make them as a blazing oven when you appear. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and fire will consume them.

And when they brought those kings out to Joshua, Joshua summoned all the men of Israel and said to the chiefs of the men of war who had gone with him,“ Come near; put your feet on the necks of these kings.” Then they came near and put their feet on their necks.

And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

“ I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with me; I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath; their lifeblood spattered on my garments, and stained all my apparel.For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and my year of redemption had come.I looked, but there was no one to help; I was appalled, but there was no one to uphold; so my own arm brought me salvation, and my wrath upheld me.I trampled down the peoples in my anger; I made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.”

But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me.’”

For David himself says in the Book of Psalms,“‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand,
