In that day, says Yahweh of Armies, I will take you, Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says Yahweh,‘ and will make you as a signet, for I have chosen you,’ says Yahweh of Armies.”

萬軍之耶和華曰、我僕撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯歟、我已簡爾、是日我必視爾為印、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

萬有之主耶和華告其僕設鐵子所羅把伯曰、我必簡爾、以爾為印、蓋爾見悅乎我、萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

萬有之主曰、我僕撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯歟、當是日我必選爾、視爾為印、因我喜悅爾、此乃萬有之主所言、

“‘ On that day,’ declares the Lord Almighty,‘ I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,’ declares the Lord,‘ and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”

“‘ Zerubbabel, at that time I will pick you,’ announces the Lord.‘ You are my servant,’ announces the Lord.‘ You will be like a ring that has my royal mark on it. I have chosen you,’ announces the Lord who rules over all.”

On that day, declares the Lord of hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel, declares the Lord, and make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the Lord of hosts.”

“ But when this happens, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, I will honor you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, my servant. I will make you like a signet ring on my finger, says the Lord, for I have chosen you. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”

On that day”— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies—“ I will take you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, my servant”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you.” This is the declaration of the LORD of Armies.

‘ On that day,’ declares the Lord of armies,‘ I will take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, My servant,’ declares the Lord,‘ and I will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ ” declares the Lord of armies.

‘ In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts,‘ I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says the Lord,‘ and will make you like a signet ring; for I have chosen you,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith Jehovah, and will make thee as a signet; for I have chosen thee, saith Jehovah of hosts.

On that day”— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts—“ I will take you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, My servant”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ and make you like My signet ring, for I have chosen you.” This is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts.

“ You are my witnesses,” says Yahweh,“ With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, neither will there be after me.

Then he answered and spoke to me, saying,“ This is Yahweh’s word to Zerubbabel, saying,‘ Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies.Who are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you are a plain; and he will bring out the capstone with shouts of‘ Grace, grace, to it!’”Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,“ The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.Indeed, who despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. These are Yahweh’s eyes, which run back and forth through the whole earth.”Then I asked him,“ What are these two olive trees on the right side of the lamp stand and on the left side of it?”I asked him the second time,“ What are these two olive branches, which are beside the two golden spouts, that pour the golden oil out of themselves?”He answered me,“ Don’t you know what these are?” I said,“ No, my lord.”Then he said,“ These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

“ Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.

“ As I live,” says Yahweh,“ though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet on my right hand, yet would I pluck you from there.

Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; for love is strong as death. Jealousy is as cruel as Sheol. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of Yahweh.

Listen, islands, to me. Listen, you peoples, from afar: Yahweh has called me from the womb; from the inside of my mother, he has mentioned my name.He has made my mouth like a sharp sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. He has made me a polished shaft. He has kept me close in his quiver.He said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”

“ Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit on him. He will proclaim justice to the nations.

Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”

However God’s firm foundation stands, having this seal,“ The Lord knows those who are his,” and,“ Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.”
