“‘ On that day,’ declares the Lord Almighty,‘ I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,’ declares the Lord,‘ and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”

萬有之主耶和華告其僕設鐵子所羅把伯曰、我必簡爾、以爾為印、蓋爾見悅乎我、萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

萬有之主曰、我僕撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯歟、當是日我必選爾、視爾為印、因我喜悅爾、此乃萬有之主所言、

“‘ Zerubbabel, at that time I will pick you,’ announces the Lord.‘ You are my servant,’ announces the Lord.‘ You will be like a ring that has my royal mark on it. I have chosen you,’ announces the Lord who rules over all.”

On that day, declares the Lord of hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel, declares the Lord, and make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the Lord of hosts.”

“ But when this happens, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, I will honor you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, my servant. I will make you like a signet ring on my finger, says the Lord, for I have chosen you. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”

On that day”— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies—“ I will take you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, my servant”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you.” This is the declaration of the LORD of Armies.

“ You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,“ and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.

So he said to me,“ This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:‘ Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.“ What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of‘ God bless it! God bless it!’”Then the word of the Lord came to me:“ The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.“ Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?”Then I asked the angel,“ What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?”Again I asked him,“ What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?”He replied,“ Do you not know what these are?”“ No, my lord,” I said.So he said,“ These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth.”

“ Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations.

“ As surely as I live,” declares the Lord,“ even if you, Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, were a signet ring on my right hand, I would still pull you off.

Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.

Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name.He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.He said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendor.”

“ Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”

Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription:“ The Lord knows those who are his,” and,“ Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”
