On that day”— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies—“ I will take you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, my servant”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you.” This is the declaration of the LORD of Armies.

萬軍之耶和華曰、我僕撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯歟、我已簡爾、是日我必視爾為印、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

萬有之主耶和華告其僕設鐵子所羅把伯曰、我必簡爾、以爾為印、蓋爾見悅乎我、萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

萬有之主曰、我僕撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯歟、當是日我必選爾、視爾為印、因我喜悅爾、此乃萬有之主所言、

“‘ On that day,’ declares the Lord Almighty,‘ I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,’ declares the Lord,‘ and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”

“‘ Zerubbabel, at that time I will pick you,’ announces the Lord.‘ You are my servant,’ announces the Lord.‘ You will be like a ring that has my royal mark on it. I have chosen you,’ announces the Lord who rules over all.”

On that day, declares the Lord of hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel, declares the Lord, and make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the Lord of hosts.”

“ But when this happens, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, I will honor you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, my servant. I will make you like a signet ring on my finger, says the Lord, for I have chosen you. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”

‘ On that day,’ declares the Lord of armies,‘ I will take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, My servant,’ declares the Lord,‘ and I will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ ” declares the Lord of armies.

‘ In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts,‘ I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says the Lord,‘ and will make you like a signet ring; for I have chosen you,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith Jehovah, and will make thee as a signet; for I have chosen thee, saith Jehovah of hosts.

On that day”— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts—“ I will take you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, My servant”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ and make you like My signet ring, for I have chosen you.” This is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts.

In that day, says Yahweh of Armies, I will take you, Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says Yahweh,‘ and will make you as a signet, for I have chosen you,’ says Yahweh of Armies.”

“ You are my witnesses”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. No god was formed before me, and there will be none after me.

So he answered me,“ This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel:‘ Not by strength or by might, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD of Armies.‘ What are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. And he will bring out the capstone accompanied by shouts of: Grace, grace to it!’”Then the word of the LORD came to me:“ Zerubbabel’s hands have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you.For who despises the day of small things? These seven eyes of the LORD, which scan throughout the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the ceremonial stone in Zerubbabel’s hand.”I asked him,“ What are the two olive trees on the right and left of the lampstand?”And I questioned him further,“ What are the two streams of the olive trees, from which the golden oil is pouring through the two golden conduits?”Then he inquired of me,“ Don’t you know what these are?”“ No, my lord,” I replied.“ These are the two anointed ones,” he said,“ who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

“ This is my servant; I strengthen him, this is my chosen one; I delight in him. I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring justice to the nations.

“ As I live”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ though you, Coniah son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, were a signet ring on my right hand, I would tear you from it.

Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death; jealousy is as unrelenting as Sheol. Love’s flames are fiery flames— an almighty flame!

Coasts and islands, listen to me; distant peoples, pay attention. The LORD called me before I was born. He named me while I was in my mother’s womb.He made my words like a sharp sword; he hid me in the shadow of his hand. He made me like a sharpened arrow; he hid me in his quiver.He said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”

Here is my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

Don’t work for the food that perishes but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set his seal of approval on him.”

Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, bearing this inscription: The Lord knows those who are his, and let everyone who calls on the name of the Lord turn away from wickedness.
