When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were only twenty.

在那一切日子，有人来到谷堆，想得二十斗，只得了十斗。有人来到酒池，想得五十桶，只得了二十桶。

那时你们怎么了？有人来到二十斗的谷堆那里，却只得了十斗；有人来到酒池那里要取五十桶，却只得了二十桶。

歷時如是之久、人至穀堆、冀得二十、僅得其十、人至酒油、望得五十、僅得二十、

是時人至麥堆、望得二十束、惟得十束、人至酒醡、望得五十斗、惟得二十斗、

其時人至禾場、望得二十束、惟得十束、人至壓酒處、望得五十普拉、普拉量酒之器下同惟得二十普拉、

People went to get 20 measures of grain. But they could find only 10. They went to where the wine was stored to get 50 measures. But only 20 were there.

how did you fare? When one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were but twenty.

When you hoped for a twenty bushel crop, you harvested only ten. When you expected to draw fifty gallons from the winepress, you found only twenty.

what state were you in? When someone came to a grain heap of twenty measures, it only amounted to ten; when one came to the winepress to dip fifty measures from the vat, it only amounted to twenty.

from that time when one came to a grain heap of twenty measures, there would be only ten; and when one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there would be only twenty.

since those days, when one came to a heap of twenty ephahs, there were but ten; when one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty baths from the press, there were but twenty.

Through all that time, when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten; when one came to the winevat to draw out fifty vessels, there were but twenty.

what state were you in? When someone came to a grain heap of 20 measures, it only amounted to 10; when one came to the winepress to dip 50 measures from the vat, it only amounted to 20.

Since those[ days] were, when[ one] came to an heap of twenty[ measures], there were[ but] ten: when[ one] came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty[ vessels] out of the press, there were[ but] twenty.

From that time when one came expecting a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten; when one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty measures from it, there were only twenty.

Through all that time, when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty, there were only twenty.

You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.”

“ You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the Lord Almighty.“ Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house.Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops.I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the olive oil and everything else the ground produces, on people and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”

If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty,“ I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not resolved to honor me.

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Before that time there were no wages for people or hire for animals. No one could go about their business safely because of their enemies, since I had turned everyone against their neighbor.But now I will not deal with the remnant of this people as I did in the past,” declares the Lord Almighty.“ The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will produce its crops, and the heavens will drop their dew. I will give all these things as an inheritance to the remnant of this people.
