Then Haggai said,“ If one who is unclean by reason of a dead body touch any of these, will it be unclean?” The priests answered,“ It will be unclean.”

哈该又说：“若有人因摸死尸染了污秽，然后挨着这些物的哪一样，这物算污秽吗？”祭司说：“必算污秽。”

哈该又说：“若有人因摸尸体染了不洁净，然后接触任何东西，这东西就变为不洁净吗？”祭司回答说：“必不洁净。”

哈该又说：“若有人因摸尸体染了不洁净，然后接触任何东西，这东西就变为不洁净吗？”祭司回答说：“必不洁净。”

哈该又说：“如果因碰过尸体而变得不洁净的人接触这些食物，这些食物会变得不洁净吗？”祭司答道：“会变得不洁净。”

哈该又说：“人若因触着尸体而成为不洁，又触着这些东西的任何一样，这就算为不洁吗？”祭司都回答说：“要算为不洁净。”

曰、浸假有人、因捫尸骸而蒙不潔、偶捫上所言諸物、則是物將為不潔否、祭司必曰不潔、

Then Haggai said,“ If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things, does it become defiled?”“ Yes,” the priests replied,“ it becomes defiled.”

So Haggai said,“ Suppose someone is made‘ unclean’ by touching a dead body. And then they touch one of these things. Does it become‘ unclean’ too?”“ Yes,” the priests replied.“ It does.”

Then Haggai said,“ If someone who is unclean by contact with a dead body touches any of these, does it become unclean?” The priests answered and said,“ It does become unclean.”

Then Haggai asked,“ If someone becomes ceremonially unclean by touching a dead person and then touches any of these foods, will the food be defiled?” And the priests answered,“ Yes.”

Then Haggai asked,“ If someone defiled by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?” The priests answered,“ It becomes defiled.”

Then Haggai said,“ If one who is unclean from a corpse touches any of these things, will the latter become unclean?” And the priests answered,“ It will become unclean.”

And Haggai said,“ If one who is unclean because of a dead body touches any of these, will it be unclean?” So the priests answered and said,“ It shall be unclean.”

Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by reason of a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

Then Haggai asked,“ If someone defiled by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?” The priests answered,“ It becomes defiled.”

Then said Haggai, If[ one that is] unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

Then Haggai asked,“ If a person who is ritually unclean because of touching a dead body comes in contact with one of these items, will it become unclean?” The priests answered,“ It will be unclean.”

“‘ Whoever of the offspring of Aaron is a leper or has a discharge shall not eat of the holy things until he is clean. Whoever touches anything that is unclean by the dead, or a man who has a seminal emission,or whoever touches any creeping thing whereby he may be made unclean, or a man from whom he may become unclean, whatever uncleanness he has—the person that touches any such shall be unclean until the evening, and shall not eat of the holy things unless he bathes his body in water.

“ Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper, everyone who has a discharge, and whoever is unclean by a corpse.You shall put both male and female outside of the camp so that they don’t defile their camp, in the midst of which I dwell.”

There were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.Those men said to him,“ We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?”Moses answered them,“ Wait, that I may hear what Yahweh will command concerning you.”Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,“ Say to the children of Israel,‘ If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh.

“ He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.He shall purify himself with water on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean; but if he doesn’t purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died, and doesn’t purify himself, defiles Yahweh’s tabernacle; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is yet on him.“ This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.Every open vessel, which has no covering bound on it, is unclean.“ Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.“ For the unclean, they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and running water shall be poured on them in a vessel.A clean person shall take hyssop, dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, and on him who touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave.The clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day. On the seventh day, he shall purify him. He shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Yahweh. The water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him. He is unclean.It shall be a perpetual statute to them. He who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.“ Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until evening.”
