Then Haggai said,“ If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things, does it become defiled?”“ Yes,” the priests replied,“ it becomes defiled.”

哈该又说：“若有人因摸死尸染了污秽，然后挨着这些物的哪一样，这物算污秽吗？”祭司说：“必算污秽。”

哈该又说：“若有人因摸尸体染了不洁净，然后接触任何东西，这东西就变为不洁净吗？”祭司回答说：“必不洁净。”

哈该又说：“若有人因摸尸体染了不洁净，然后接触任何东西，这东西就变为不洁净吗？”祭司回答说：“必不洁净。”

哈该又说：“如果因碰过尸体而变得不洁净的人接触这些食物，这些食物会变得不洁净吗？”祭司答道：“会变得不洁净。”

哈该又说：“人若因触着尸体而成为不洁，又触着这些东西的任何一样，这就算为不洁吗？”祭司都回答说：“要算为不洁净。”

哈該又說：「如果因碰過屍體而變得不潔淨的人接觸這些食物，這些食物會變得不潔淨嗎？」祭司答道：「會變得不潔淨。」

哈該又說：“人若因觸著屍體而成為不潔，又觸著這些東西的任何一樣，這就算為不潔嗎？”祭司都回答說：“要算為不潔淨。”

哈該又說：『若有因死人而不潔淨的觸着這些東西的任何一件，這東西算為不潔淨麼？』祭司回答說：『該算為不潔淨。』

哈該曰、設有人以捫尸而蒙不潔、觸此諸物、則是物成為不潔乎、祭司僉曰、必為不潔、

曰、浸假有人、因捫尸骸而蒙不潔、偶捫上所言諸物、則是物將為不潔否、祭司必曰不潔、

哈該曰、假若有人因捫屍骸而蒙不潔、後捫是諸物、是諸物或作上所言諸物則是物將為不潔否、祭司曰、不潔、

So Haggai said,“ Suppose someone is made‘ unclean’ by touching a dead body. And then they touch one of these things. Does it become‘ unclean’ too?”“ Yes,” the priests replied.“ It does.”

Then Haggai said,“ If someone who is unclean by contact with a dead body touches any of these, does it become unclean?” The priests answered and said,“ It does become unclean.”

Then Haggai asked,“ If someone becomes ceremonially unclean by touching a dead person and then touches any of these foods, will the food be defiled?” And the priests answered,“ Yes.”

Then Haggai asked,“ If someone defiled by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?” The priests answered,“ It becomes defiled.”

Then Haggai said,“ If one who is unclean from a corpse touches any of these things, will the latter become unclean?” And the priests answered,“ It will become unclean.”

And Haggai said,“ If one who is unclean because of a dead body touches any of these, will it be unclean?” So the priests answered and said,“ It shall be unclean.”

Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by reason of a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

Then Haggai asked,“ If someone defiled by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?” The priests answered,“ It becomes defiled.”

Then said Haggai, If[ one that is] unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

Then Haggai asked,“ If a person who is ritually unclean because of touching a dead body comes in contact with one of these items, will it become unclean?” The priests answered,“ It will be unclean.”

Then Haggai said,“ If one who is unclean by reason of a dead body touch any of these, will it be unclean?” The priests answered,“ It will be unclean.”

“‘ If a descendant of Aaron has a defiling skin disease or a bodily discharge, he may not eat the sacred offerings until he is cleansed. He will also be unclean if he touches something defiled by a corpse or by anyone who has an emission of semen,or if he touches any crawling thing that makes him unclean, or any person who makes him unclean, whatever the uncleanness may be.The one who touches any such thing will be unclean till evening. He must not eat any of the sacred offerings unless he has bathed himself with water.

“ Command the Israelites to send away from the camp anyone who has a defiling skin disease or a discharge of any kind, or who is ceremonially unclean because of a dead body.Send away male and female alike; send them outside the camp so they will not defile their camp, where I dwell among them.”

But some of them could not celebrate the Passover on that day because they were ceremonially unclean on account of a dead body. So they came to Moses and Aaron that same dayand said to Moses,“ We have become unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be kept from presenting the Lord’s offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?”Moses answered them,“ Wait until I find out what the Lord commands concerning you.”Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Tell the Israelites:‘ When any of you or your descendants are unclean because of a dead body or are away on a journey, they are still to celebrate the Lord’s Passover,

“ Whoever touches a human corpse will be unclean for seven days.They must purify themselves with the water on the third day and on the seventh day; then they will be clean. But if they do not purify themselves on the third and seventh days, they will not be clean.If they fail to purify themselves after touching a human corpse, they defile the Lord’s tabernacle. They must be cut off from Israel. Because the water of cleansing has not been sprinkled on them, they are unclean; their uncleanness remains on them.“ This is the law that applies when a person dies in a tent: Anyone who enters the tent and anyone who is in it will be unclean for seven days,and every open container without a lid fastened on it will be unclean.“ Anyone out in the open who touches someone who has been killed with a sword or someone who has died a natural death, or anyone who touches a human bone or a grave, will be unclean for seven days.“ For the unclean person, put some ashes from the burned purification offering into a jar and pour fresh water over them.Then a man who is ceremonially clean is to take some hyssop, dip it in the water and sprinkle the tent and all the furnishings and the people who were there. He must also sprinkle anyone who has touched a human bone or a grave or anyone who has been killed or anyone who has died a natural death.The man who is clean is to sprinkle those who are unclean on the third and seventh days, and on the seventh day he is to purify them. Those who are being cleansed must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and that evening they will be clean.But if those who are unclean do not purify themselves, they must be cut off from the community, because they have defiled the sanctuary of the Lord. The water of cleansing has not been sprinkled on them, and they are unclean.This is a lasting ordinance for them.“ The man who sprinkles the water of cleansing must also wash his clothes, and anyone who touches the water of cleansing will be unclean till evening.Anything that an unclean person touches becomes unclean, and anyone who touches it becomes unclean till evening.”
