Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

「萬軍之耶和華如此說，你要向祭司請教律法，說：

「萬軍之耶和華說，『你去問祭司，

“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：你要向祭司詢問有關律法的事說：

『萬軍之永恆主這麼說：你要向祭司問禮節的規矩說：

萬軍之耶和華云、問法律於祭司曰、

萬有之主耶和華曰、當問法於祭司曰、

萬有之主如是云、當問法於祭司、

“ This is what the Lord Almighty says:‘ Ask the priests what the law says:

The Lord who rules over all speaks. He says,“ Ask the priests what the law says.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts: Ask the priests about the law:

“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says. Ask the priests this question about the law:

“ This is what the LORD of Armies says: Ask the priests for a ruling.

“ The Lord of armies says this:‘ Now ask the priests for a ruling:

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Now, ask the priests concerning the law, saying,

“ This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Ask the priests for a ruling.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests[ concerning] the law, saying,

“ The LORD who rules over all says,‘ Ask the priests about the law.

“ Yahweh of Armies says: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth; for he is the messenger of Jehovah of hosts.

and that ye may make a distinction between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean;and that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which Jehovah hath spoken unto them by Moses.

And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.And in a controversy they shall stand to judge; according to mine ordinances shall they judge it: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all my appointed feasts; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.

They shall teach Jacob thine ordinances, And Israel thy law: They shall put incense before thee, And whole burnt- offering upon thine altar.

holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able both to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict the gainsayers.

If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates; then shalt thou arise, and get thee up unto the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose;and thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days: and thou shalt inquire; and they shall show thee the sentence of judgment.And thou shalt do according to the tenor of the sentence which they shall show thee from that place which Jehovah shall choose; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they shall teach thee:according to the tenor of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do; thou shalt not turn aside from the sentence which they shall show thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.
