我知爾僕、善於斫木、我僕可與之偕、取利巴嫩之柏香木、松木、檀木、運至我所。於是備材甚多、所建之殿必巨。爾僕既斫材木、我必與彼嘉麥一千二百萬斗、麰麥一千二百萬斗、酒一百二十萬斤、油一百二十萬斤。

我曾簡是殿、使之成聖、為籲我名之所、我必眷顧垂念、歷久靡暨。

耶和華復命約拿曰、往尼尼微大邑、以我所言告眾。

畀金於木工石工、畀餱糧油膏與西頓推羅人、使運柏香木、自利巴嫩至約帕海濱、循巴西王古列之諭。

告之曰、爾祈禱於我前、我聞之矣、爾所建之殿、為永籲我名之所、我使之成聖、我將目睹心思、恆久不已。

我必涖臨、與以色列族晤對、顯著榮光、成聖其地、

萬有之主耶和華云、斯民自謂建耶和華殿、其期未屆、惟耶和華使先知哈基傳命、曰、爾所居之屋、以板附壁、使斯殿荒蕪、豈在斯時乎、

亦將鼓盪列邦、列邦之企慕者將至、我將以榮光充盈殿宇、萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

利巴嫩當啟爾門、任爾柏香木為火所焚、巍巍者已毀矣、柏香木已傾、爾諸松柏、俱當號呼、林樹既仆、巴山橡櫟亦當哀泣、

又曰、後建之殿、榮光燭照、較先建之殿、尤為朗耀、我必錫平康於斯、萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

基達群羊、盡歸於爾、尼排約之牡綿羊、為爾所用、獻於祭壇、見納於我、以彰聖室之榮光。

故當結果、以彰悔改、勿自以為亞伯拉罕吾祖也、吾語爾、上帝能使此石為亞伯拉罕子孫焉、

利巴嫩之名樹、及松柏黃楊、移栽聖所、使我駐蹕之地、榮光丕著。

悅其邑門、愈於雅各諸家兮、上帝有命、將被榮光於其邑兮、

既出、耶穌曰、今人子榮、上帝以之而榮、上帝以人子而榮、則上帝將自榮人子、而速榮之、

耶路撒冷人得榮光、受慰藉、爾可同樂、若子得乳。

以大石三行、材木一行、所費則取諸國帑。
