耶和華的話第二次臨到約拿，說：「起來，到尼尼微大城去，把我告訴你的信息向其中的居民宣告。」

他們把銀子給石匠、木匠，把糧食、酒、油給西頓人、推羅人，好將香柏樹從黎巴嫩浮海運到約帕，是照波斯王居魯士所允准他們的。

耶和華對他說：「我已聽了你在我面前的禱告和祈求，將你所建的這殿分別為聖，使我的名永遠立在那裏；我的眼、我的心也必時常在那裏。

我要在那裏與以色列人相會，會幕就要因我的榮耀成為聖。

基達的羊羣都聚集到你這裏，尼拜約的公羊供你使用，獻在我壇上蒙悅納；我必榮耀我那榮耀的殿。

你們要結出果子來，和悔改的心相稱。不要自己心裏說：『我們有亞伯拉罕為祖宗。』我告訴你們，上帝能從這些石頭中給亞伯拉罕興起子孫來。

黎巴嫩的榮耀，就是松樹、杉樹、黃楊樹，都必一同歸你，用以裝飾我聖所坐落之處；我也要使我腳所踏之地得榮耀。

耶和華愛錫安的門，勝於愛雅各一切的住處。上帝的城啊，有榮耀的事是指着你說的。（細拉）

猶大出去後，耶穌說：「如今人子得了榮耀，上帝在人子身上也得了榮耀。如果上帝因人子得了榮耀，上帝也要因自己榮耀人子，並且要立刻榮耀他。
