This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ These people say,‘ The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.’”

Here is what the Lord who rules over all says.“ The people of Judah say,‘ It’s not yet time to rebuild the Lord’ s temple.’ ”

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts: These people say the time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the Lord.”

“ The LORD of Armies says this: These people say: The time has not come for the house of the LORD to be rebuilt.”

“ This is what the Lord of armies says:‘ This people says,“ The time has not come, the time for the house of the Lord to be rebuilt.” ’ ”

“ Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, saying:‘ This people says,“ The time has not come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built.”’”

Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, This people say, It is not the time for us to come, the time for Jehovah’s house to be built.

“ The Lord of Hosts says this: These people say: The time has not come for the house of the Lord to be rebuilt.”

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD’S house should be built.

The LORD who rules over all says this:“ These people have said,‘ The time for rebuilding the LORD’s temple has not yet come.’”

“ This is what Yahweh of Armies says: These people say,‘ The time hasn’t yet come, the time for Yahweh’s house to be built.’”

Then the people of Judah began to complain,“ The workers are getting tired, and there is so much rubble to be moved. We will never be able to build the wall by ourselves.”

But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed.“ We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!”

The lazy person claims,“ There’s a lion out there! If I go outside, I might be killed!”

Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom.

Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.

I slept, but my heart was awake, when I heard my lover knocking and calling:“ Open to me, my treasure, my darling, my dove, my perfect one. The lazy person claims,“ There’s a lion on the road! Yes, I’m sure there’s a lion out there!”As a door swings back and forth on its hinges, so the lazy person turns over in bed.Lazy people take food in their hand but don’t even lift it to their mouth.Lazy people consider themselves smarter than seven wise counselors.

Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety.
