This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ These people say,‘ The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.’”

Here is what the Lord who rules over all says.“ The people of Judah say,‘ It’s not yet time to rebuild the Lord’ s temple.’ ”

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts: These people say the time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the Lord.”

“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: The people are saying,‘ The time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the Lord.’”

“ The LORD of Armies says this: These people say: The time has not come for the house of the LORD to be rebuilt.”

“ This is what the Lord of armies says:‘ This people says,“ The time has not come, the time for the house of the Lord to be rebuilt.” ’ ”

Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, This people say, It is not the time for us to come, the time for Jehovah’s house to be built.

The LORD who rules over all says this:“ These people have said,‘ The time for rebuilding the LORD’s temple has not yet come.’”

“ This is what Yahweh of Armies says: These people say,‘ The time hasn’t yet come, the time for Yahweh’s house to be built.’”

猶大人說：「工人已經精疲力盡，還有太多瓦礫有待清理，我們自己無法重建城牆。」

跟他一起去打探的人卻說：「我們不能去攻打那些人，他們比我們強大。」

利宏、伸帥書記及其同僚接到諭旨後，急忙趕往耶路撒冷，用武力強迫猶太人停工。於是，耶路撒冷上帝殿的重建工程停止了，一直停到波斯王大流士第二年。那時，先知哈該和易多的子孫撒迦利亞奉以色列上帝的名，向猶大和耶路撒冷的猶大人宣講上帝的話。於是，撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和約薩達的兒子耶書亞開始在耶路撒冷重建上帝的殿，上帝的先知在他們身邊幫助他們。

懶惰人說：「外面有獅子，我會喪命街頭。」

凡你的手能做的，都要盡力去做，因為在你要去的陰間沒有工作，沒有計劃，也沒有知識和智慧。

你若等待完美的天氣，必無法撒種，無法收割。

我雖然躺在床上，心卻清醒。我聽見我的良人在叩門，說：「開門吧！我的妹妹，我的愛人，我完美無瑕的小鴿子啊，我的頭上沾滿了露水，頭髮被夜間的露珠弄濕了。」可是我已經脫了衣裳，難道要再穿上嗎？我已經洗了腳，怎能再沾土呢？

懶惰人說：「路上有獅子，街上有猛獅。」懶惰人賴在床上滾來滾去，就像門在門軸上轉來轉去。懶惰人手放在餐盤，卻懶得送食物進嘴。懶惰人自以為比七個善於應對的人更有智慧。

懼怕人的必自陷網羅，信靠耶和華的必安穩。
